Not consistent

I found out about this app through one of my couponing pages. I downloaded the app and submitted my first rebate for a purchase I had made a few days prior. The receipt was approved. I did have some trouble with my deposit because I had a different email address linked to this app then what PayPal has. But I changed that and got the money.
Fast forward to a couple days ago I went on the app saw the rebates and then went and did my shopping, came home and added the rebates into my cart took the picture of my receipt and got an email stating my receipt was not approved because I made the purchase prior to adding the items into my cart. What?!
I I submitted this receipt the same way I submitted the other one a couple weeks ago and had no problems with. I probably wont use that app again, its not that great and not worth my time for the little amount of options they have.
